fuser(1) manual page reads:
-signal
Use the specified signal instead of SIGKILL when killing
processes. Signals can be speci‐ fied either by name
(e.g. -HUP) or by number (e.g. -1). This option is
silently ignored if the -k option is not used.
Seeing "-signal" makes to think it is full optiona name. Only after
reading the full descriptions changes that impression.
SUGGESTION
A minor tweak for the definition:
