Bug#509281: Lenny1 has the same problem!!!

Gnumeric 1.8.3-5 in Lenny1, as in Lenny rc1 at first, does not save Excel plots 
correctly.
Upon saving them it ruins them.
Gnumeric vers 1.6.3 in Etch r3 saves them perfectly.
