Package: msmtp
Version: 1.4.17-1
Severity: normal
when upgrading msmtp 1.4.16-1 to msmtp_1.4.17-1_i386.deb i was prompted
regarding the configuration file /etc/msmtprc. the typical "D" command to show
the differences failed.
afterwards when i checked, there was a file /etc/msmtprc.ucf-dist that appeared
to be an attempted merge of my local changes, with the following messages:
++++*** WARNING: ucf was run from a maintainer script that uses debconf, but
++++ the script did not pass --debconf-ok to ucf. The maintainer
++++ script should be fixed to not stop debconf before calling ucf,
++++ and pass it this parameter. For now, ucf will revert to using
++++ old-style, non-debconf prompting. Ugh!
++++
++++ Please inform the package maintainer about this problem.
thanks for your time and effort in packaging msmtp.
