On amd64 and unstable (sid) environment that the binutils 2.19.1-1 is available for upgrade but it's issue an error like Miguel Figueiredo said before,
Downgrade the binutils to 2.18.1~cvs20080103-7 (the same as now stable - Lenny) solve this problem for me. Cheers, Neutron Soutmun
