Package: mock Version: 0.9.7-2.1 Severity: wishlist Hi,
the mock rules file contains the following:
$(MAKE) DESTDIR=$(CURDIR)/debian/mock
pkgpythondir=/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/mock install
This is perfectly appropriate and the package does nothing wrong;
however it is one of the handful of ones that will need to be updated to
cope with the upcoming changes in python-support (currently lying in
experimental).
After python-support has been updated, the package will not stop
working; however if it is rebuilt, the new version will fail to work
because the files installed in /var/lib/python-support won’t be taken
into account.
It would be nice if you could prepare an new version in experimental,
that uses pkgpythondir=/usr/lib/pymodules/mock instead. Otherwise, we
can make this change in unstable right after python-support is updated.
