Martin, could you please try again with the latest Sid version (1.0.8-4, just uploaded)? In particular I'd like you to:
- Test whether the problem still exists. - Check in strace whether there are still EBADFs. - Re-run acpid with debug enabled and get the error log from stderr. The strace suggests that acpid is trying to write to stderr quite a lot, but none of this writes succeedsfor obvious reasons. Mabye the tell us more about what's going on. Thanks.
