Font packages are usually much simpler than other Debian packages. You can find many examples of font packages in Debian, ttf-* and the ttf-bpg-georgian-fonts is working fine. You will need a Debian sid installation so that you can reproduce any bugs that may be filed. You should join the pkg-fonts project so you can commit stuff to SVN: http://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-fonts You should also join the pkg-fonts mailing list: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-fonts-devel The first thing that should be done is to package the latest upstream version, clean up the package and deal with the only open bug, which happens to be an Ubuntu one: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ttf-bpg-georgian-fonts/+bug/42922 Good luck with your exams, cya soon! -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
