Hi Francesco!

I can spend some time to make the test if you prepare a build for that. I've
one of my server with a lot of FTP connection who can be used. If I switch
on mod_delay on it, proftpd crash within 2 hours.

Be sure to build a real Sarge version.

Let me know how to do the test too.
