Package: gpsd
Version: 2.37-6~bpo40+1
Severity: normal

The debconf templates for gpsd don't contain default options to set the control
socket path (hardcoded in /lib/udev/gpsd.hotplug to /lib/udev/gpsd.hotplug),
thus causing gpsd not to start:

Starting GPS (Global Positioning System) daemon: gpsdgpsd: can't run with
neither control socket nor devices
 failed!

Even if it would start, hotplugging (enabled via debconf!) wouldn't work.

Please add "-F /lib/udev/gpsd.hotplug" as default daemon options.

To the best of my knowledge, this bug is still present in the latest version of
the gpsd package (i.e. the one in sid).
