Package: dbconfig-common
Version: 1.8.40
Severity: wishlist

Hi sean,

if one is using dbc_generate_include, the generated configuration file
is managed by ucf. It would be handy, if in addition the file is added
to the ucf registry via ucfr.
This way a user can easily query which package the configuration file
belongs to (via ucfq /path/to/generated/file).

As dbconfig-common does not handle the removal of the configuration file
in postrm/purge, the documentation in 3.2.1 (and examples) would have to
be updated accordingly.

Cheers,
Michael
