OK, I looked at this bug report again and studied the version against
which you filed the bug report.  I'm fairly sure I know what's going
on and that it's basically the same problem as in #310478, just in a
different place of the code.

I'll fix this soon.

I'd still appreciate it though if you could try to reproduce this bug
so you can check whether the fix I propose really fixes it.
