It seems there are no *.pc files in any of the binary packages
that the tre source package builds. There is a tre.pc.in in the
source tree, and the build system generates tre.pc from that and
installs it as debian/tmp/usr/lib/pkgconfig/tre.pc, but these
files doesn't end up in any binary package. Please add tre.pc
to the libtre-dev package.

<http://bugzilla.elinks.cz/attachment.cgi?id=506&action=view>
is a patch that makes ELinks use TRE for regexp searches,
but it is currently unusable on Debian because of this bug.

Looking in the debian/tmp directory after a build, I see there
are also two tre.mo files that didn't get to binary packages.
I'll file a separate bug about those.
