The text on the buttons in Pippy is unreadable (looks like text height is set to 1 or something like that). Will attach screenhot. Probably upstream bug #4218 [1]. That one has a patch attached that changes the source not to request a fixed height. The width is still fixed, though, so the text might be clipped horizontally.
