Quoting Dmitry E. Oboukhov ([email protected]): > If I've understood correctly this is a final patch variant and it > is ready for upload, isn't it?
Not exactly: As written in the bug report: Please review the suggested changes are suggested, and if you have any objections, let me know in the next 3 days. Please try to avoid uploading rtpg with these changes right now. The second phase of this process will begin on Monday, January 12, 2009, when I will coordinate updates to translations of debconf templates. --> So, now we need you to ACK the proposed changes by saying that you're OK and would not change the text later because something is not OK for you. Then, I'll launch the translation update round by asking existing translators for updates *and* sending a call for translations in debian-i18n That call for translations lasts for 15 days, with a reminder sent 3 days before the deadline (some translation teams have thorough review processes that take time). And, finally, at the end, I will send you a final notice with a patch and *then* it's OK to upload...:) Uploading now would not be very useful, then.
