You're patch looks fine Jonny, I can't see any reason it wouldn't work for that version of trayicon. Nice one ! Unfortunately I've changed the inheritance of trayicon from 0.13, and the query-tooltip signal won't be available to it until gtk 2.16 is released, but I'll apply it to trunk as soon as it makes sense, thanks.
