Hi,

here are further details regarding my rdesktop problem.

Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 3) is running locally in a
QEMU/KVM virtual machine. I'm using qemu v. 0.9.1-10 and kvm 72+dfsg-4
from testing with kernel 2.6.26 (linux-image-2.6.26-1-686 v. 2.6.26-12).

I start the virtual machine with the following command:

gksu kvm -cdrom /dev/cdrom -hda /win/win.qcow2 -localtime -m 198 \
  -no-acpi -daemonize -nographic -redir tcp:3389::3389

I run the rdesktop session as follows:

rdesktop -k de -K -r disk:media=/media -r disk:tmp=/tmp -r printer:lp \
  -u $USER localhost

For testing purposes, I've just replaced /win/win.qcow2 with a backup
qcow2 image that had worked flawlessly before my upgrade from etch to
lenny. It appears that access (e.g. from the Windows Explorer) to the
exported paths is *not* denied during the first rdesktop session. After
logging out and logging in again, access is denied. It continues to be
denied after restarting the virtual machine.

The Windows error message reads (in German):

Auf \\tsclient\tmp kann nicht zugegriffen werden. Sie haben eventuell
keine Berechtigung, diese Netzwerkressource zu verwenden. Wenden Sie
sich an den Administrator des Servers, um herauszufinden, ob Sie über
Berechtigungen verfügen.
Das Gerät ist nicht angeschlossen.

[Access denied to \\tsclient\tmp. You may not be allowed to use this
network resource. Contact the server admin in order to find out whether
you are allowed to.
The device is not attached.]
