Hello. The reason for this error appears to be a change in reportbug and how it acts on the --template option. Starting with version 3.43, it seems that reportbug, when given the --template option, will execute and include the output of a package's bug script in the template it generates, but this causes trouble when the bug script is interactive. This seems not to have been the case with earlier versions of reportbug and will cause problems since debian-bug needs to call reportbug with the --template option.
