Hi, I think I have the same problem, save that every second time I want to "Get Prices" I get a list with the specific quotes finance::quote didn't get (all I want to have). Otherwise I get the same error message.
Finance-Quote works since I fixed the yahoo query in Base.pl [1]. I also query only yahoo, but choosing "USA" as source produces the same problem. I could fix the problem by removing all funds and than adding one by one. It appears that there is a maximum number of unsuccessful queries that gnucash allows; too many unsuccessful queries lead to the described behaviour (the messages are not very helpful). Even though some queries would work, the system breaks down. It might be good to provide more specific error messages. Hope that helps!
