originally "Using shared smbclient library in the samba executables" Last comment by Jelmer in the bug log made the wish of linking samba executables against libsmbclient irrelevant. Let's keep the suggestion by the bug submitter to rename the libsmbclient package to fit its SONAME, though. Steve, that would be a job for you..:-) --
