If you read the identify doc (http://www.imagemagick.org/www/identify.html) the -define unique=true at the bottom of the page. It will be therefore an improvement. Unique=true is different of the other define because it does not follow the usual convention format:option. I do not say my patch is perfect but it is an improvement.
