I just tested it a little more, and I think I need more files, actually I need an entire package which could be called libpq3-dev and be like libpq-dev only for 7.4 instead of for 8.0.
I am trying to compile a module for postgresql 7.4 without having to download the entire postgresql source code. Would it be possible to make such a package?
