I just tested a domU and dom0 kernel package created with the patch above (from the Xen patched kernel sources), it appears the postinst script is looking for the /boot/vmlinuz-* kernel [1], which is not created (see notes above, only xenu-linux-* / xen0-linux-* images are included in the package), so this will have to be changed, too. Also, the packages are called linux-image-*.deb instead of linux-xenu-*.deb, as they were used to be, IIRC. So, there are still some changes to be done. (Note: an unpatched kernel with Xen virtualization enabled can be installed without any problems.)
