Since you reported this bug the Debian's BTS, the "net" command changed drastically, some parts being entirely rewritten. (the bug was reported against 3.0.21c, even before etch's version, which is 3.0.24) Group mapping, particularly, is much much much improved. As a consequence, I suspect that the bug is 99.99% likely to be fixed....or was user error (these things are sometimes hairy). So, if you agree and unless you still experience this bug, I propose closing the bug report. --
