Hrm. This patch doesn't seem to work for me any better, actually.
But looking at this more closely, the build failure seems to be
because the directory tree to the package contained the string
"libneon", which was getting stripped out for libneon-gnutls.
When i moved the package source to a directory that did *not* include
the string "libneon", the package built successfully.
So to be clear, the problem seems to be that the sed bit is a tad
ambitious -- it strips/modifies pathnames that it really has no
business stripping.
