Hi all, I just wanted to mention that, after a few exchanges with the GNOME developers on the upstream bug report [0], I have managed to solve this problem for me by adding the following setting to the [daemon] section of /etc/gdm/gdm.conf:
UserAuthDir=/tmp Can the rest of you try this and see if it makes any difference?
