It seems as if NM is ignoring wlan0 and does not start scanning for wireless networks and try to establish a connection over wlan0. So the only issue seems to be, that wlan0 is in some way "initialized" by NM. Michael -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
