Thanks. My inclination, as these are specific Ubuntu files, is to leave
that to the Ubuntu patch.
I am somewhat reluctant to increase the range files cached by default as
this is not supposed to be a general purpose proxy and .tar.gz.gpg
certainly exist outside ubuntu. I think the default should be pretty
specific, but easily configurable for local circumstances. I hope that
is what the configurable regexps achieves.
But, perhaps, I could be persuaded if you have another argument......
