I couldn't reproduce any crash here either, on a fresh install of lenny (in French, which is even more likely to fit the bug submitter's environment) during my tests of D-I.
Here again, I really se no reason for the bug to be release critical as it has been proven that it seems to happen only on the submitter's box. --
