Could you please give us something to work with. Some error message/log output/whatever instead of just "doesn't work"? I'm using bridging for quite some time now and do not have a single problem. When installing it you might want to run "/etc/init.d/virtualbox-ose stop; /etc/init.d/virtualbox-ose start" instead "/etc/init.d/virtualbox-ose restart" to make sure the module gets unloaded and reloaded.
