Package: gnupg2 Version: 2.0.9-3.1 Severity: wishlist Do you think it would be possible for gnupg2 to "provide" gnupg? AFAICS gnupg2 provides more configuration options and is backward compatible to gnupg. That should be sufficient to resolve the dependencies of other packages, e.g. dpkg-dev and debian keyring. Why install both?
Esp. I like gnupg2's new log-file option. Very nice to document who logs in onto the server. BTW, gnupg2's description still describes gnupg, and its restriction over PGP2.
