Hm, could it be a driver issue this time? I have an amd64 machine running
2.6.27.2 and a RTL8187 adapter (which also uses the mac80211 stack).
Wireless-tools 30pre6 gives errors, but with 30pre7 the output of iwlist scan
is fine.
