It seems that the bug was know by debian maintainers because the debian diff removes every special letters in the english po file. The easier way to limit the bug is probably to do the same process for the other languages po files.
I think the problem is how Ceferino analyses the text to print and displays the appropriate area of fuente_2.png. To me, the bug is around fuente2::obtener_referencia() or fuente2::myprintf_inferior() (in fuente2.cc). I don't understand the code well enough to help more.
