1. From the Print Window : Settings : configure -> Duplex 2. Print Window -> Layout : Handout 2 pages on 1 page neither has any effect on the printed results, which is one-sided, one page on one paper. The printer is HP LaserJet 4050 PS, over the local network, and it functions well in other programs: for example, Adobe Reader sets both of this settings succesfully. Printer has been installed using system-config-printer. Setting these settings with system-config-printer works well.
