The rsnapshot downloads-page

the hosts that have to be added to the 'sources.list' is not available.

The only option left, which I would like to circumvent, is to run Perl
to fetch it from CPAN.

Unfortunately the Perl Lchown module doesn't seems to be available under Debian.

I've been using Rsnapshot for years my self without using the Lchown module, and haven't had any issues.

That being said, you should be able to install the Perl Lchown module under Debian by running the following command as root:

perl -MCPAN -e 'install qw(Lchown)'
