Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: wishlist Hi,
The ability to download the changelog of a package before downloading the package itself is very nice, and aptitude has allowed the user to easily request the changelog of a package for some time. I have some new ideas in mind that would benefit greatly from the ability to download the NEWS.Debian file, if one is present in the package. I would guess that it wouldn't be hard to extract this information at the same time as the changelog.
