Package: ripit Version: 3.5.1-1 Severity: normal Tags: patch
in /usr/bin/ripit the function "lame_preset" (line 2853) rewrites the preset mode to "fast" . $preset. This does not work as (in my installation) the "insane" preset can not be called with "fast". A patch might be (as i did it) to check if the preset mode is "insane" first and if not rewrite the preset. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-6-686 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages ripit depends on: ii cdda2wav 9:1.1.2-1 Dummy transition package for iceda ii cdparanoia 3.10+debian~pre0-4 audio extraction tool for sampling ii lame 3.97-0.0 LAME Ain't an MP3 Encoder ii libcddb-get-perl 2.23-2 read the CDDB entry for an audio C ii libwww-perl 5.805-1 WWW client/server library for Perl ii vorbis-tools 1.1.1-6 several Ogg Vorbis tools ripit recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
