While I fully agree on this (that's why I reassigned the bug), adding one more file is not really a burden, at least until git-buildpackage will support plain `git config` options. The real problem is that AFAIK you cannot append new filter options to -i/-I, but only completely substitute the default values. Thx, bye, Gismo / Luca
