Try this:

1. touch ~/тест
2. 'ls ~' shows file 'тест' correctly
3. mod-p to launch prompt
4. type '~/'

It shows all files in $HOME and file 'тест' is shown incorrect.

If it does not help, I can test it on my (amd64) machine.
