Using Lenny.
Am running openswan out of a compact flash card mounted read only using the
flashybrid package.
Pretty sure this is what is killing it in /etc/init.d/ipsec:
# portable way for checking for root
if [ ! -w / ]
then
put the previous test back in
if test " `id -u`" != " 0"
It works now.
