Hi Daniel,
The following is a patch to not inappropriately ship .pth for
other packages. I have downgraded this bug to important because the
fatal breakage is only in the backport, but please see to a
timely fix.
As a side effect, it also cleans up properly in debian/rules clean.
Note that I'm not intending to NMU this as per your direct wish on
IRC.
