I have committed this fix to my CVS and so it will eventually make to
everywhere relevant.
FYI, there were two things wrong your bug report:
* You forgot to mention that the patch you attached was actually
written by me. It is important to properly track the attribution
of things in Free Software to avoid (for example) future
accusations of copyright problems.
* Something under your control detabified the files before you
diffed the, or the diff. The result is that your patch did not
apply. Luckily I still happened to have the files in my filespace
on chiark so I regenerated the diff myself and applied that.
