Package: miro Version: 1.2.3-2 Severity: important
Last night when I started miro it failed with a bunch of error pop-ups. On starting a second time, state had reverted to the default install setup. Investigation revealed a "corrupt_database" file in .miro. I pointed miro back to my custom download directory, and it did not find my videos and repopulate the database, I am having to re-subscribe to each of about two dozen feeds manually. Also, I have several gig of already downloaded video that seems to have been orphaned. The original download folders and videos are all still there, and fortunately the folders seem to have meaningful names so I can still play the video using another application. But even though a newly re-subscribed feed seems to deliver downloaded videos to the same directory as before, miro does not catalog the videos already present from before the database corruption in the same folder as a part of the feed. The "corrupt_database" file is about 14M. I believe I have at least one e-mail account that will allow me to send this large of an attachment, if anyone would care to have a look at it. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages miro depends on: ii imagemagick 7:6.3.7.9.dfsg1-2+b2 image manipulation programs ii libatk1.0-0 1.22.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libboost-date-time1 1.34.1-11 set of date-time libraries based o ii libboost-filesystem 1.34.1-11 filesystem operations (portable pa ii libboost-python1.34 1.34.1-11 Boost.Python Library ii libboost-thread1.34 1.34.1-11 portable C++ multi-threading ii libc6 2.7-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.6.4-6 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libgcc1 1:4.3.1-9 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.16.4-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.12.11-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libnspr4-0d 4.7.1-3 NetScape Portable Runtime Library ii libpango1.0-0 1.20.5-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-13 SSL shared libraries ii libstdc++6 4.3.1-9 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.1.4-2 X11 client-side library ii libxine1 1.1.14-3 the xine video/media player librar ii libxine1-plugins 1.1.14-3 the xine video/media player librar ii libxine1-x 1.1.14-3 X desktop video output plugins for ii miro-data 1.2.3-2 GTK+ based RSS video aggregator da ii python 2.5.2-2 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-dbus 0.82.4-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii python-glade2 2.12.1-6 GTK+ bindings: Glade support ii python-gnome2 2.22.0-1 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii python-gst0.10 0.10.12-1 generic media-playing framework (P ii python-gtk2 2.12.1-6 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge ii python-gtkmozembed 2.19.1-2 Python bindings for the GtkMozEmbe ii python-pysqlite2 2.4.1-1 Python interface to SQLite 3 ii python-support 0.8.4 automated rebuilding support for P ii xulrunner-1.9 1.9.0.1-1 XUL + XPCOM application runner ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12 compression library - runtime miro recommends no packages.
