Package: apt-file
Version: 2.1.4
Severity: normal

It doesn't seem right that `apt-file search` only works as root:

  [EMAIL PROTECTED]: ~/software/debian/couchdb/trunk $ apt-file search
libjs-jquery
readdir() attempted on invalid dirhandle DIR at /usr/bin/apt-file line 500.
closedir() attempted on invalid dirhandle DIR at /usr/bin/apt-file line 505.
E: The cache directory is empty. You need to run 'apt-file update' first.
