Package: network-manager-gnome Version: 0.6.6-2 Severity: important In my setup, there is one wireless network with WPA-Personal authorization and a password. This network is saved in the wireless networks list of gnome network manager (nm-applet, started under icewm).
Most of the time it connects fine. But occasionally, it will fail to autoconnect. Then when I try to connect manually, it shows the "connecting" state and never connects. The mouse-over hint says "waiting for network key". Trying again, or rebooting, does not fix the issue - it still can not connect. If I go into the network list, remove the network, reboot, and try again, it connects fine - and will work again for some time, intil the next similar failure. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_IE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages network-manager-gnome depends on: ii libc6 2.7-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.1-3 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.76-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libgconf2-4 2.22.0-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglade2-0 1:2.6.2-1 library to load .glade files at ru ii libglib2.0-0 2.16.4-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome-keyring0 2.22.3-1 GNOME keyring services library ii libgnome2-0 2.20.1.1-1 The GNOME 2 library - runtime file ii libgnomeui-0 2.20.1.1-1 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgtk2.0-0 2.12.11-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libnm-util0 0.6.6-2 network management framework (shar ii libnotify1 [libnotify1-gtk2.1 0.4.4-3 sends desktop notifications to a n ii libpango1.0-0 1.20.5-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libx11-6 2:1.1.4-2 X11 client-side library ii network-manager 0.6.6-2 network management framework daemo Versions of packages network-manager-gnome recommends: ii libpam-gnome-keyring [libpam- 2.22.3-1 PAM module to unlock the GNOME key pn network-manager-openvpn-gnome <none> (no description available) pn network-manager-vpnc-gnome <none> (no description available) ii notification-daemon 0.3.7-1+b1 a daemon that displays passive pop network-manager-gnome suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
