Package: discus Version: 0.2.9-1 Severity: normal IIRC, on UNIX filesystems (e.g., e2fs) the system reserves 5% of the space for "root"... that is, when the partition is physically 95% full, to the user it is effectively 100% full; only root can make use of the last 5%. "discus" does not seem to take this into account. Note in particular the difference between discus and df in reporting for /scratch:
