Hey I'm curious: you say the jabber package was "orphaned from under me" but you are still the official maintainer - what's happening there? In case you want/need a helping hand with the package, let me know. I'm not a dd but I do some packaging.
If you *want* to orphan the package, I'm sure we'll find people to adopt it. If you *don't* want to orphan the package, even better! :) Other than that, are there any particular reasons left for not shipping 1.6.x with lenny+1?
