I've just tried it with the current kvm-71 package using: http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/testing/main/installer-i386/current/images/netboot/netboot.tar.gz
The commandlines i used are: $ kvm -m 512 -tftp . -bootp /pxelinux.0 -boot n -net nic,model=<model> -net user I can boot using pxe with rtl8139, pcnet and ne2k_pci, but not with e1000. I also tried the pxe-e1000.bin file shipped by upstream, that didn't help.
