Hello, Bonjour, Winnie
I did just try another model of ACR38U reader and ... it works.
So my ACR38U-CFC-BLI (S/N 4010301125) dont works with my Debian Lenny
distro (but well with MSWindows).
While an ACR38U-SPC-FDT (S/N 101021446) works well with my Debian Lenny
distro.
What is the difference between an ACR38U-CFC-BLI and an ACR38U-SPC-FDT
readers ?
Thanks for the investigations.
Gerard.

- My reader and my beid card on another computer running ubuntu ->
error powering up the card
- My reader and my beid card on another computer running under
MSWindows -> it works
- My beid card with another brand of reader (Alcor Micro AU9520) on my
computer -> it works
2) Tomorow i'll try an older model of ACR38 on my computer. I'll send
you the results.

Hello Laurent,
Thanks for your email.
I have my engineer to read the bug report and it seems that USB
communication between PC and reader is worked properly.
There is a problem to power up the belgian eid card.
Can you try another card?
