I don't use xfce or xterm, but I noticed the same thing with wmii and rxvt-unicode when I upgraded my kernel (and only my kernel!) from 2.6.25 to 2.6.26. It almost feels to me as though the resizes are being queued, and the curses app keeps on getting the previous instead of current terminal size. -sqweek
