A new version of libattr1 was recently accepted in testing, so it looks like that might be the cause. buildd.debian.org/pkg.cgi?pkg=attr has a strange date and no log for amd64. But I also found: # /etc/init.d/lighttpd start Starting web server: lighttpd/usr/sbin/lighttpd: Symbol `FamErrlist' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking . so it could also be a problem in the linking of lighttpd. This message appears with libgamin0 as libfam-provider, and disappears with real libfam0 installed. The problems occurs on amd64, and not on i386.
